Remote Education Provision Information January 2021
As required by DfE, our school provides daily learning from the national curriculum every day via our learning platforms. This includes differentiated work from a wide variety of sources and feedback from the teacher. The learning and feedback are provided more than daily if the class is closed and daily if children are self isolating.
During periods of lockdown where classes are split between school and home, the school will provide similar learning experiences each day. Depending on staffing, work may be set and marked several times a day or there may be a gap of 24 hours between contacts.
Parents are all made aware of our learning platform upon arrival into school. Our learning platform has been vetted for security and complies with the school's GDPR policy.
The school makes no demand on when and how parents get their children to engage in learning. After over 6 months of provision, parents and teachers have established a highly effective partnership that exceeds many strategies modelled by DfE during lockdown.
Should any parent wish to speak about their child's remote learning please contact the class teacher or headteacher.
